Finding all our articles

Date:

If you want to see a full chronological list of articles the WSM published use the All Articles view.  Not everything made it online, in particualr from the pre-internet period but we did get even a lot of that content onto this site.

If you are looking for articles on specific topics the Categories listing to the left will be useful.  For articles from particular Regions use the Regions listing just below this.

We also have a  very comprehensive listing of articles by Subject but unfortuantly not every article on that subject will apppear there as its dependent on the correct tags having being added.

About the Workers Solidarity Movement

Date:

The Workers Solidarity Movement was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1984 following discussions by a number of local anarchist groups on the need for a national anarchist organisation. At that time with unemployment and inequality on the rise, there seemed every reason to argue for anarchism and for a revolutionary change in Irish society. This has not changed.

WSM texts translated into Polish

Date:

This years anarchist bookfair (3rd March, Teachers Club) will see a meeting for Polish speaking anarchists in Ireland. There will also be a 'Polish anarchists in Ireland' stall. Poland has quite a large anarchist movement as a result there are a significant number of Polish anarchists who like other Poles have migrated to Ireland to find work. They have translated a large number of articles written by anarchist in Ireland by WSM members into Polish. These translations are now available on the WSM web site.

WSM members are present at the Rossport Solidarity Camp and are taking place in solidarity actions elsewhere around the country. This is a complication of reports, audio, video from these actions - many from WSM members - and also fragments from discussions we are involved in online.

What the WSM Believes

Date:

Points of Unity

The WSM regularly discussed, debated and decided on what our collective political approach is. All members took part in this process and the results are preserved in the position papers you will find linked to below.  These papers defined our collective approach, we don't require that every member agree with every point in them but they do describe the politics the WSM will implement.
