The six anarchist syndicalists arrested last September in Belgrade are now being charged with international terrorism.
On Thursday 29th October, the Civil Police of Rio Grande do Sul, under the command of Governor Yeda Crusius, broke into the premises of the Federação Anarquista Gaúcha. Police seized various materials such as posters, minutes of meetings, the hard disk of a computer and also the contents of refuse containers that were at the headquarters. They also tried to intimidate those who came to show their solidarity and names contained in the records of the organization's website. Two comrades were arrested and charged. Shell to Sea campaigner Maura Harrington has received a 3 months sentence todayin court. She is currently en route to Mountjoy,there will be a protest at the jail from 6pm
Two prominent Shell to Sea campaigners, Maura Harrington and Niall Harnett have been sentenced to 4 months in prison.

Acting in defense of a local community, and seeking to ensure that our resources are put to better use than the profits of a few rich individuals, Maura is being targetted, again like many others because their activism is effective.
Last evening after the news of the 30 day sentence imposed on 55 year old Shell to Sea protester Maura Harrington filtered through supporters converged on the gates of Mountjoy prison. By the time the van carrying Maura came into view over 30 supporters were waiting at the prison gates, matched by a similar number of Gardai.
