• 50 WT equivalence teaching posts to be lost in Dublin
• loss of skilled specialist staff
• large number of courses to be lost as a result of staff cuts
• significantly less Further Education places for students
• erosion of affordable quality education
• progression to 3rd level through further education to suffer
• young people locked out of education and jobs
• short-term courses no substitute for quality Further Education
• Further Education being sacrificed to privatisation
